Black Lives Matter

We at Bennett Hartman, LLP acknowledge the call within the Labor Movement, the Judiciary, and the legal community for the self-reflection, personal accountability, and change necessary to eradicate the racism that permeates all facets of our justice system. In this moment – with the pandemic highlighting historic economic and health inequity and the murder of George Floyd laying bare the truths that America has ignored far too long—we accept the call to action. We cannot have justice for all until we have justice for black people. What this means for us at Bennett Hartman is that we recognize our privilege, hear the concerns of communities of color, and commit ourselves to having those hard but necessary conversations with the goal of enacting radical change that protects black lives, supports collective action, and furthers social justice.
