Bennett Hartman Attorneys File Disability Discrimination Lawsuit Against Intel

As companies continue to require employees to return to the office, Bennett Hartman attorneys are working to ensure that disability accommodations aren’t forgotten.

Intel last year required employees to return to onsite work after many years of remote work following the pandemic. If an Intel employee refused the request to return to onsite work, they were promptly laid off.

In the case of an employee represented by Bennett Hartman, however, the remote work had previously been granted as a reasonable disability accommodation. The worker alerted Intel of the reason for his remote work. Nonetheless, Intel laid him off because he did not return to onsite work.

Bennett Hartman filed a lawsuit on behalf of the Intel employee. The lawsuit seeks payment of damages and reinstatement of his employment with backpay. You can read more about the lawsuit here.
